Yorkshire & NE: September 2024 Meeting at Rudding Park

We arrived there on a cool evening and once through the imposing doors into the grand entrance, we were met with music and a very welcome Espresso Martini kindly sponsored by Nigel Smith from Mattisons beds, alternatively there was a wide choice of hot and cold coffees from Ollie working on the Illy coffee cart. Our thanks go out to Sam Lewis, Julia Featherstone, Karen Tyson and Matthew Mackaness who were all on hand to host us in style. After a warm welcome from Lisa Wiilams, we were treated to a delicious meal of tasty tacos ,mini burgers and individual quiches all served by Head Chef Matthew Wilkinson .The piece d’resistance was the chocolate fountain, popcorn and macaroons. Before our infamous raffle, we were shown around one of the suites which overlooks the stunning gardens.Since we last saw the suite it has been refurbished tastefully with some lovely colour ways. We would like to thank Sam Lewis and Rudding Park for such a fun and successful evening .
