Metsä 2027 Sustainability Awards launched in the UK. After highly successful events in 2023 & 2025, the Metsä 2027 Sustainability Awards, in association with the Cleaning and Services Support Association and hosted by Katrin, is back.
Metsä Tissue Sustainability Awards - Winners Announced
Sustainability successes celebrated at Metsä Tissue’s inaugural awards ceremony. More than 200 cleaning industry leaders gathered for a black-tie Awards dinner on London’s iconic Cutty Sark on 15th March, as the winners of the Sustainability Awards were revealed.
The event was the first in a new Awards programme launched by Metsä Tissue in the UK, in partnership with the Cleaning & Support Services Association, which aims to promote sustainability and reward its champions.

Metsä Tissue is planning a significant investment in a tissue mill in the UK
Metsä Tissue, the tissue paper business of the forest industry group Metsä Group, is planning to invest in a new tissue mill in the UK. The plan consists of 240 000 tons of tissue paper production capacity, built in several phases during the upcoming decade. The plans are part of the company’s Future Mill programme to drive world class environmental performance in tissue production.
