London & South East
The London & SE Region has the largest membership of all regions, which can be accredited to the number of hotels in the capital. Each year the region hosts various events and meetings, including networking meetings, the National Business Lunch, a Summer BBQ and the Winter Ball.
Members are kept informed of events and any news posted on the UKHA website and occasionally separate emails are sent out. Information of up and coming events and housekeeping news is regularly updated on the website.

As a psychology graduate with a passion for people, I found the perfect place to bring that passion to life in hospitality and housekeeping. Since 2013, at The Grand Hotel, I’ve been fortunate to work with an exceptional team dedicated to delivering outstanding experiences for both our guests and our colleagues.
In 2023, I was honoured to receive a Catey Award, and I have since had the privilege of contributing as a member of the judging panel.
From December 2025 I will be the UKHA Chair for London & SE and my focus is on strengthening connections within our profession. I aim to create more opportunities for housekeepers across London and South East region to network, share ideas, and celebrate best practice. I am also committed to promoting professional recognition, supporting skills development, encouraging innovation and creating equal opportunities within a welcoming, inclusive environment for people from diverse backgrounds. Supporting the wellbeing and growth of our teams remains my key priority.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me running or cycling across the beautiful South Downs.
I’m proud to represent this inspiring community and excited to help shape the future of our profession!

London and South East News
A fantastic evening was had by all at our annual summer BBQ. The summer sun truly made the event sparkle, and we welcomed a record-breaking crowd of members and their guests, numbering over 150 attendees.

In June over 50 London SE members gathered on a gloriously sunny roof terrace at the Mighty Griffin Recruitment HQ in Brixton for an evening of cocktails, gifts, refreshments, raffles and networking.
Well over 250 UKHA members and their guests from across the UK arrived at The Pan Pacific London for the annual business luncheon. The London & SE committee thank everyone that attended and supported this event.

On Tuesday 10th March, we were warmly welcomed to the magnificent Army & Navy Club, a private members’ club founded in 1837 for officers of the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

UKHA London kicks off 2026 with a fantastic February event, with UKHA members joining Gosia and the London committee at the Union Jack Club on a rainy Tuesday evening.
Fernanda Lewis, Director of Housekeeping at The Goring Hotel in London, UKHA committee member and recent London Chair has been shortlisted for the 'Unsung Hero Award' category at the Hotel Magazine Awards 2026.
On Saturday 13 December, we once again had the privilege of hosting our Annual UKHA Winter Ball at the magnificent Pan Pacific, and what an exceptional evening it was. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal while bubbles and wine flowed freely throughout the night.
