Manchester Meeting Review: Sept 2026

Members of UKHA Manchester & NW met on Friday 25th September at The Treehouse in Manchester.

Meeting Review

The Treehouse Hotel is a unique venue, where modern magic meets childhood wonder, and every detail is a playful nod to the spirit of discovery, blending local flavour with creative charm. Whether you’re savouring inventive bites or diving into spontaneous adventures, this hotel is a world away from the norm.

The UKHA members and guests enjoyed a fabulous meeting. It was lovely to see new faces, who we hope to welcome back soon, as well as familiar faces returning too.

Becki from Being Hospitality gave a fantastic presentation which everyone joined in with putting in their ideas. It was held in the cinema - with very plush reclining seats!

We had been welcomed with refreshments including scrumptious macarons and smoothies and after Becki's presentation we were ushered up to the Hideaway - what fantastic views over Manchester skyline - on the 14th floor for tasters of the restaurant menu and wine. Jacklyn organised a showround of her fantastic rooms and we all had a relax and chats.

Congratulations to Jacklyn and Jan for being shortlisted for the HHH Housekeeping Manager of the Year Award, unfortunately we didn't win, but everyone who is shortlisted is a winner. Also congratulations to Julie from The Lowry, who has been shortlisted for the Catey Housekeeper of the Year award. Watch this space .............

Next stop is the MHA Ball Thursday 29th October, where we will be bumping into our MHA members and more old friends.
