About Jakub
Jakub has over 20 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, beginning his career as a Linen Porter and progressing through a wide range of operational and leadership roles in London, as well across the UK. Today, he serves as the Director of Housekeeping at Grantley Hall in Ripon North Yorkshire, where he leads one of the region’s most complex luxury housekeeping operations.
"My career spans both luxury hospitality and unique international appointments, including serving as Head of Housekeeping for a senior member of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia — a role that strengthened my expertise in high‑standards service, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.
As a dedicated housekeeping professional, my ambition is to elevate the profile of our discipline and promote its potential as a long‑term, fulfilling career. I am particularly committed to developing the next generation of leaders, creating pathways for growth, and ensuring our profession receives the recognition it deserves within the wider hospitality industry."
