Hospitality Action: March Events 2026

The UKHA supports all charities that champion the hospitality sector and Hospitality Action is particularly active! This month the UKHA team attended two amazing fund-raising events: the Hospitality Fight Night on 16th March and the Back to the Floor event on the 20th March.

Hospitality Action Fight Night - 16th March 2026

A fantastic evening last the Royal National Hotel, supporting the incredible work of Hospitality Action, attended by Lisa Williams, Liana Sparks & Denise Bateson and other UKHA members and committee.

"Hospitality is an industry built on people and behind every service, every stay, and every guest experience, there are teams who give so much of themselves every single day. That’s why organisations like Hospitality Action are so important. They provide vital support to those in our industry when they need it most, whether through financial help, wellbeing support, or simply being there in challenging times. The boxing was a real highlight of the evening – an energising and uplifting way to bring everyone together, creating a true sense of camaraderie and shared purpose across the room.

As UKHA, we are proud to support Hospitality Action and stand alongside an organisation that truly cares for our people. Supporting wellbeing, raising awareness, and giving back to our industry is at the heart of what we do. It was inspiring to see so many colleagues and friends from across the industry come together for such a meaningful cause. Nights like this remind us of the strength, compassion, and unity within hospitality.Proud to support Hospitality Action and the incredible difference they continue to make."

Hospitality Action 'Back to the Floor' raised a record-breaking £405,000 on the 20th March 2026

Co-founded by Danny Pecorelli, Managing Director at Exclusive Collection and hosted by James B. Clarke, General Manager at London Hilton on Park Lane, the legendary event saw over 100 senior hospitality leaders don aprons and return to their roots for one night only. 600 guests were treated to the dazzling silver service skills of the industry’s finest, with each executive battling it out to earn the biggest tips, every penny of which goes directly to support hospitality workers in times of crisis.

This event also marked a major milestone with total funds raised across all seven Back to the Floor events soaring past £1million, cementing it as Hospitality Action’s most successful fundraising initiative in its history. This is not only in recognition of the hard work of millions of individuals who make up the incredible hospitality industry, but also proof that when hospitality comes together, the results can be truly extraordinary.

Reflecting on this achievement Chief Executive Mark Lewis shared: "Sometimes I have to pinch myself because when I look around at extraordinary events like this, I am in total awe of the willingness of so many people coming together for the greater good. We are incredibly lucky to work in such an energised and vibrant industry, and the eagerness to support our own is palpable. Hospitality is an industry that so many people love being part of, but for others it can also present real challenges. It is for those colleagues that Hospitality Action exists, and we will never stop continuing to provide the support, care and assistance they need when times get tough."

The team from the UKHA had an amazing evening and Lisa Williams UKHA National Chair reflected: "An unforgettable evening with an even greater purpose. Back to the Floor continues to bring our industry together in the most powerful way - combining passion, generosity and a shared commitment to supporting one another. And this year was no exception".
