Meeting Review

On Tuesday 10th February, we proudly hosted our first UKHA event of the year at the Union Jack Club in London Waterloo – and what a fantastic start it was! With over 70 guests in attendance, not even the unpredictable February weather could dampen the enthusiasm and support from our amazing members and guests.

The evening was filled with great energy, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow housekeeping professionals.

A highlight of the night was our wonderful raffle, made possible by the generosity of those who kindly donated prizes. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed – your support truly makes a difference.

We also held an open discussion, inviting feedback and suggestions from those in attendance. It was incredibly valuable to hear directly from you – the people of the Association – about what you would like to gain from your membership and how we can continue to evolve and grow together. Your voice matters, and your input helps shape the future of UKHA.

During the evening, we were reminded of the importance of RSVP’ing to events and of active participation within the Association. Your engagement and contributions ensure we can continue to honour and build upon the incredible legacy that has been entrusted to us.

We have an exciting year ahead, with a calendar already packed full of events. However, we are still looking for venues for a couple of upcoming meetings. If you are able to host or sponsor an event this year, please get in touch at London@ukha.co.ukk – we would love to hear from you.

As always, we encourage you to bring along a housekeeping colleague who may not yet know about our fantastic Association. Together, we can continue to grow and prosper, just as we have done for the past 40 years.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who make these events possible. Your ongoing support, enthusiasm, and commitment are what keep UKHA thriving.
