UKHA London & SE Winter Ball: Review

Over 200 UKHA members and their guests from across the UK gathered at the Park Plaza Riverbank on Saturday 16th December for the London & SE annual Winter Ball. What an evening of festive frivolity! Fernanda Lewis, the London Chair led her committee in organising an amazing evening. Our review reads mainly like a huge list of thank yous to everyone who contributed to the event and made it such a resounding success. We can't wait until next year, how are they going to top that!

Gosia Oszkiel from The Grand in Brighton made sure everyone's booking was processed and Margus commanded the finances. Kyle Clarke organised our amazing sponsors and Paul Fisher from The Best Dressed Group coordinated the raffle. Not forgetting Shahnawaz Khan from the Pan Pacific for compiling the gorgeous goody bags, or Jackie for helping everyone.

Thank you to the team at the Park Plaza London Riverbank for the incredible menu and exemplary service throughout the evening. Special thanks to Bridget the Event Manager, Atiqur the Assistant Operation Manager, Alexandra, Rana, Ronok, Georgina and the service team for their outstanding warmth and incredible attention to detail. Andrew the Executive Chef and his team prepared and presented the most wonderful food and we received so many compliments. The caramel, chocolate and banana compote desert was to die for. The Park Plaza Riverbank exceeded our expectations in terms of service and that was noticed by every one involved. The meticulous planning and seamless execution were truly commendable.

Our entertainment was provided by the SpinSisters: a sisterhood of London’s finest female DJs. These ladies spun the decks and got everyone grooving on the dance floor.
