Hotel Cateys 2023 - Winner Announced

The most successful hotels, hoteliers and hotel employees from across the UK gathered in London on 13th November for the 2023 Hotel Catey Awards, and we are thrilled to announce that UKHA member and London committee member, Gosia Oszkiel scooped Housekeeper of the Year!

Congratulations Gosia!

Gosia Oszkiel is the Executive Housekeeper at the The Grand in Brighton and she impressed the judges in this category for her first-class cleanliness and hygiene in bedroom preparation, as well as her efficient and dedicated running of the housekeeping department.

Winning a Hotel Catey is special because recipients are nominated, selected and rewarded by their peers.

A coveted Catey statue symbolises excellence and is awarded in recognition of those at the very top of their game as judged by the wider industry.

Gosia has been a member of the UKHA since 2019 and recently joined the London & SE Committee with an active role in event planning and management. We are very lucky to have her and are sending her a gift from all the UKHA committees to congratulate her!

Congratulations also go to finalists and UKHA members Natalie McNally from the Hotel Cafe Royal and Julie Rogers from The Lowry in Manchester. Our Yorkshire Chair Lisa Williams and Executive Housekeeper at The Grand in York was also present to support The Grand's Jordi Vaca who won 'Conceirge of the Year'. Pretty good awards night for the UKHA!
