UKHA Midlands Welcomes Two New Committee Members
Melanie Penn, UKHA Midlands & SW Chair has appointed two new committee members and is pleased to welcome back Bev Wesson and newbie Anne Taylor to the team.
Bev Wesson
Bev joined The UKHA Midlands and South West in 2013 as a member and later joined the committee as a Secretary.
She spent a short time as Chair of the committee before standing down to concentrate on personal matters and starting a new position within the NHS at the start of the covid pandemic.
Bev has 30 years’ experience of working in Housekeeping at all levels and enjoys meeting other housekeepers within the UKHA in a hope of providing solutions to any challenges they face and a willingness to 'have a chat.'
Anne Taylor
Anne has a vast knowledge regarding housekeeping, especially when it comes to the hotel and hospitality sectors.
Having worked for national suppliers Alliance as their Business Development Manager from their West Midlands depot for the last 12 years she has a wealth of experience supplying and assisting housekeeping teams across the whole of the West Midlands.
She has a total of 30 years working with the housekeeping and cleaning industries during which she obtained a number of supporting qualifications.
Her knowledge, experience and understanding of the needs and wants of businesses who have a housekeeping team / function make her a brilliant point of reference for anyone in the industry.
