Our Speakers: Aileen Williamson from Ac Eco, and Karen Miller from Gordon Castle talking all about Sustainability, the future of it in the hotel industry and the impact it has on our environment, guests and our housekeeping departments. 

We had a great sessions by both ladies who has presented us with their own versions on how to manage and run our daily work processes in more efficient, cost reducing, environmental friendly and sustainable way. Looking at each aspect of our daily operation, rethink and look for new ways on what can be reused,recycled or completely eliminated to achieve the reduction of carbon footprint we all have directly on our planet.

Sustainability is all about making smart choices when it comes to running our departments and businesses. We have the responsibility to improve, reduce  and recycle the waste of anything we see fit and everything we are using on daily basis as part of our living and working. It all comes at cost not only financially for us, but also the cost of our environment, such as how much of our waste is sent to landfill or polluting the water by daily use or misuse of cleaning chemicals. Can this be done better by all of us in more sustainable manner?
