Yorkshire Summer Meeting Review: Wednesday 29th July
  • Date: 29th July 2026
  • Region: Yorkshire & NE
  • Meeting: Rudding Park Hotel, Rudding Ln, Follifoot, Harrogate HG3 1JH

The UKHA Yorkshire & NE committee and members gathered in July at the beautiful Rudding Park, a property set within Yorkshire's nature and surrounded by woodland and elegant landscaped gardens.

Meeting Review

With the summer weather continuing to impress - that evening at Rudding Park was no exception. It’s hard to imagine a more ideal backdrop for bringing together like‑minded professionals who share a passion for the Housekeeping profession. We welcomed 40 attendees, including Heads of Housekeeping from across the region and their valued suppliers.

Our Speaker

The evening began with a captivating presentation delivered by Molton Brown, led by Sarah Jarrett and her team. As “an icon of uniquely British style”, Molton Brown took us on a sensory journey through the world of fragrance, offering a fascinating introduction to the art of perfumery and delighting everyone with their fabulous scents.

Thank yous

Guests were then treated to an al fresco BBQ‑style dinner, followed by a fantastic selection of desserts, sponsored by the venue. Dining in such a stunning setting created the ideal atmosphere for continued conversation, networking, and meaningful discussion about our profession.

On behalf of the entire association, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Julia Featherston, Head of Rooms Division and Nicoleta Ilie, Resort Executive Housekeeper, for their generous hospitality and for sharing with us their beautiful property for the evening.
