Housekeeping Today: In Focus July 2026

In the July / August issue of Housekeeping Today the editorial team visited Edina Potor, UKHA member and Head of Housekeeping at Brambletye School, to find out more about her 'love of housekeeping".

Edina Potor is head of housekeeping at Brambletye School, a highly regarded and award-winning co-educational boarding and day school for children aged two to 13 in the West Sussex countryside, led by headmaster Will Brooks. The three ‘School Rules’ are Work Hard, Play Hard and Be Kind, and that certainly suits Edina.

" Brambletye School is a magical place. It is a beautiful site with a mixture of historic and modern buildings, all of which we take great pride in looking after. I joined in 2017 as a cleaning supervisor through a contracted cleaning company. After three years, the school decided to employ me directly and I was promoted to cleaning manager, now I am Head of Housekeeping"
