The members were informed by Julia Harper who welcomed everyone to the meeting and mentioned that Lesley Kipling has stepped down as Midlands Chair for personal reasons. As we seek a suitable chair for the Midlands, Wales and South West Region Delia asked our Midlands members to consider:
- Do you have any ideas or recommendations on suitable individuals we might approach on the matter?
- Perhaps you may consider the role yourself?
Support advice and guidance will be readily available from the committee, the future role as the Midlands Chair will be a wonderful opportunity to lead, to promote, to build the membership and take pleasure from the fruits of your work by contributing to making this association a force to be reckoned with. We value your support and hope you may consider the opportunity. The post for Midlands Chair person is available with immediate effect and any member who meets the criteria for selection will be offered support as they transcend into the role. Therefore, if you are interested please apply for the position by declaring your interest and sending a short personal profile to the Deputy Chair, please email email@example.com
