Annual Business Lunch London 2018

    Our October Annual United Kingdom Housekeeper Association Lunch was hosted at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel.  It was a delightful event attended by members and Associates from all over the Country.

    Huge thanks to Sponsors Quadrant, WGC, Donau Services and of course, our hosts, Cluster General Manager, Christian Van Dam, Executive Housekeeper, Alex Pontus, Events Executive, Ksenia Sildisova and their respective teams who worked tirelessly before, during and after to ensure the event went without a hitch and was perfect in every possible way.

    The hotel provided world class service, decor and greeted every one of the 300 guests, including 30 General Managers of some of the best hotels in the UK. It must have been a nerve-wracking experience for the hosts and they met the challenge with skill and aplomb.

    Jay Rayner delivered the traditional entertainment we have come to expect over the years at these events and didn’t disappoint delivering a fun and enlightening speech about hospitality today and the expectations of a restaurant customer from a manager’s point of view. Something we are all sympathetic towards when things don’t go they way they should amongst other amusing anecdotes and advice.

    The moment cannot pass without mentioning the UKHA London and South East organising committee, National Committee and all colleagues involved. These events take a lot of organisation and they all do it in their spare time.

    So a huge thank you to all of you who contributed towards making this one of the best lunch events ever.
