The region was founded 20 years ago and was successfully relaunched in February 2010. The North and West Pennines meetings are a great way for all Housekeepers in the area to get to know each other, share best practice and exchange information and ideas.
Meetings are held bi-monthly in different hotels across Manchester, and surrounding areas, where guest speakers from different sectors talk about topics relevant to housekeeping and the hospitality sector.
Our main goals are to improve the professional standing of housekeepers, promote housekeeping as a career and re-introduce housekeeping training programmes to colleges.
There are also opportunities to attend social events throughout the year, so if you haven’t already joined……what are you waiting for!?
In July 2011 we toasted our 1 year anniversary by hosting the Annual Summer Ball in Manchester, which was a great success.
